How to use the Bookshop

You can do a search using keywords across the whole bookshop initially and you will have the opportunity to select from search suggestions to find what you need quickly. Publications in the Bookshop are arranged in logical categories so that you can easily filter your search to narrow your search or simply to browse by ticking or deselecting categories. Categories are organized by subject.

If your search was successful, matching items will be listed in the summary. You can either click the publication title to see more details or add directly into your shopping basket.

How to buy

You can first select your chosen format from a drop down menu and then add to basket. The basket will appear at the top right of your screen to allow you to continue shopping or browsing if you need. Once you are ready you can review the shopping basket contents and make any adjustments before clicking the 'checkout' button. After choosing your delivery zone, postage and packing is then added, with VAT calculated (only where applicable).  At this point you will be asked to enter your invoice and delivery details. You will then have the choice of paying by card online to receive your items promptly or you can request an invoice from us for payment in advance of delivery.

When you pay by credit or debit card you will be connected to a secure service for card payment authorisation, hosted by Barclaycard. Once your payment has been accepted you will be returned to the shop with an order completion confirmation message. If you have chosen any downloadable products you will be able to visit your download centre to access them. If you subsequently leave the site you may need to log in again to access your download history.

Once we have received your order we will send you an automatic email confirming the goods ordered,  and the amount to be charged. This email is for information only and does not constitute acceptance of your order. You will also have a record of your download links in the email.

If you prefer, you can call us on +44 (0) 1494 569602 during office hours Mon-Fri 9–5pm and we will take your order over the phone. You can either use a credit card or ask us to send you a proforma invoice. However, we will only send you your order on receipt of payment.

Terms of sale

Purchases from our bookshop are subject to our terms of sale . Please read them, especially the terms relating to delivery of electronic products. Orders are subject to agreement to these terms.
